Today, though their popularity is no longer at the heights it once was, they continue to perform on stages all over the world and it is likely that fans will want to check them out when they appear at a venue nearby. So expect concert tickets to witness Wheatus to be in high demand.

The current rendition of Wheatus taking to the stage includes Brendan B Brown on guitar and vocals alongside Gerard Charles Hoffmann, Matthew Milligan, Kevin Joaquin Garcia, Johanna Cranitch, Karlie Bruce and Dani Elliot completing the line-up. In addition to “Teenage Dirtbag” they have also found fans for songs such as “A Little Respect” and “Wannabe Gangstar”, amongst others. So they have plenty of songs ready to perform in a live setting, in addition to those they can pluck from studio albums like “Wheatus” (from 2000) and “TooSoonMonsoon” (from 2005), keeping those armed with rock tickets satisfied.

There are clear comparisons to other bands, such as Bowling For Soup and other pop punk acts – they could also be confused with Weezer with such a closely-sounding name – but they remain a unique and distinct group in their own right. And so catching them in a live setting is a must for any fan of the band, with songs such as “Wannabe Gangstar” and “Real Girl” sounding even better when they are performed onstage.
