The Italian rock star Adelmo Fornaciari – or Zucchero to his fans – returns to the stage in the United Kingdom to show other rock artists a thing or two about live shows.
Over the decades he has managed to make a huge impression, not only on audiences at home in Italy, but on international crowds as well, who have relished in the tracks that have made it into the shops and have also been inspired by the collaborations with names such as Eric Clapton. So after a long career in the spotlight that has earned him a large fan base, it is likely that concert tickets for upcoming shows are going to be in high demand.
His musical output since 1970 has ranged from bands and collaborations to solo work that has maintained him to this day, with tastes of rock, blues, folk and other musical styles all making an appearance to make him a unique and distinctive star. In the early days of his career he focused on Italy but by the time the 1990s rolled around he was known around the world, making him well known for songs like “Senza Una Donna” (“Without a Woman”), as well as “Baila Morena”, “Il Volo” and “Bacco Perbacco”, amongst others. These have ensured high sales for rock tickets whenever he goes on tour.
And clearly his fans have been equally impressed with the further tracks that are found on his studio albums, which span many decades and include some impressive pieces of work. Zucchero emerged in the 1970s and would eventually make a name for himself with records that range from “Un po’ di Zucchero” in 1983, “Rispetto” in 1986 and “Oro incense e birra” in 1989 to “Zucchero Sings his Hits in English” in 1990, “Miserere” in 1992 and “Zu & Co” in 2004, amongst many others. So it is no wonder he is still held in high regard alongside other artists such as Vasco Rossi and why he manages to maintain an impressive fan base.
Such fans will be out in full force when Zucchero makes his way to the stage to perform the glorious live versions of these tracks. After all, nothing beats hearing great rock songs live onstage and seeing as Zucchero has been around for many decades, he has undoubtedly been performing for long enough to learn a thing or two about putting on a spectacular show.
