Bob Dylan Announces 2011 UK Show
The Folk Rock Legend To Play London Feis in June
With Bob Dylan’s “Never Ending Tour” still ongoing (as the name suggests) it was only a matter of time before he announced when he would be returning to the United Kingdom following his previous run of shows here in 2009. So today is the day that the American folk rock legend reveals his only UK date of 2011 – at the London Feis in June – meaning that there will be plenty of folk rock lovers, and fans of Dylan himself, preparing to find ways of witnessing the icon take to the stage.
The “Never Ending Tour” of course encompasses many different countries and as a result Dylan will be making his way to the stage in various other locations around the globe in 2011, with plenty of people getting the chance to pick up Bob Dylan concert tickets to experience his live work. So he hopes to take to stages in Shanghai and Beijing in April, with other planned dates in Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia. But in the UK audiences will have to travel to Finsbury Park to get in on the action, as this is the location of the London Feis, which is in its inaugural year in 2011 and sees Dylan take to the stage on Saturday 18th June 2011.
Bob Dylan is, of course, the best known folk rock musician in the world, having emerged during the folk rock boom of the 1960s and become an enormously influential figure not only in terms of folk rock, but in terms of mainstream music in general. He is well known for the relatively-long 1965 song “Like a Rolling Stone” and his career has also seen him attract fans thanks to songs such as “Hurricane”, “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”, “The Times They Are a-Changing”, “Mr Tambourine Man” and more. So depending on his planned set-list, audience with folk tickets around the world still get chances to hear the latest versions (he regularly changes up his style, after all) in a live setting.
So audiences will undoubtedly be flocking to Finsbury Park as Bob Dylan takes to the stage as part of the London Feis on Saturday 18th June 2011.
