Bogdanovic wins first Wimbledon qualifier
Tennis fans with Wimbledon tickets could get to see another British player in action during the tournament.Alex Bogdanovic faced off against Ricardo Hocevar of Brazil in his first qualifier for Wimbledon.
He won the game in two sets, although the Brazilian was able to take the second set to a tie-break.
The British number two now has to win two more matches in order to make it to Wimbledon, which gets underway later this month.
Meanwhile, the UK's number one is still working to overcome a knee injury ahead of the tournament.
Andy Murray, who lost in the third round at Queen's against Mardy Fish, will play an exhibition match against 2002 Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt on Thursday.
Hewitt will be hopeful of victory against the Scot, after seeing off Roger Federer in the Gerry Weber Open final.
Murray lost to Federer earlier this year in the Australian Open final, since which time his form has been inconsistent.
