Chemical Brothers Confirmed Alongside David Guetta, Tiesta and Calvin Harris
Creamfields today becomes the latest festival to announce the line-up of acts set to attract music fans from across the country. It has just revealed the Chemical Brothers as the headliner of the 2011 event, which will be held in August, alongside acts such as David Guetta, Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, Armin Van Buuren, Magnetic Man, Katy B, Eric Prydz and Josh Wink, among others. Meanwhile, the BBC has revealed acts such as Andy C, Caspa, Goldie and Danny Byrd as amongst those heading to the BBC Radio1Xtra Arena.
The Chemical Brothers are, of course, the electronic duo behind well known songs such as “Hey Boy Hey Girl” and “Let Forever Be”. Consisting of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons they have released an abundance of albums between 1995 and the modern day, from the debut “Exit Planet Dust” to 1999’s “Surrender”, 2005’s “Push the Button” and 2010’s “Further” – plus many others in between. They will be a welcome choice as Creamfields headliners, having previously made a name for themselves thanks to their spectacular live shows. In recent weeks they were also announced as the headline act of the Rockness Festival in Scotland.
Meanwhile, Creamfields is the well known festival that provokes hosts of music lovers around the world to pick up dance tickets and head to the nearest event.
