Danielle Hope 'can't wait' to sing at the West End
Danielle Hope has admitted she cannot wait to perform as Dorothy for people with The Wizard of Oz theatre tickets. The 18-year-old took part in the BBC 1 talent show Over the Rainbow and emerged as the winner.
After securing her victory in the competition, Hope is now eager to get going and start performing.
"I know we're going to be fully rehearsed with a fantastic ensemble and I can't wait to start," she commented.
Hope said she has no fears about performing to people with West End theatre tickets and considers this an "amazing opportunity".
However, she admitted that her feet have not yet touched the ground since she came out on top at the weekend.
"Everything has moved so fast," Hope remarked.
This new version of The Wizard of Oz is based on the classic book by L Frank Baum, which was published in 1900.
However, many people with theatre tickets for the show may be more familiar with the famous movie which stars Judy Garland as Dorothy.
