Kele Okereke concert tickets on sale for one-off date
Kele Okereke is set to release concert tickets for a one-off show to support his solo album later this year.The Bloc Party frontman is performing the date at London's Electric Ballroom to promote his album The Boxer.
Taking place on November 19th, it will follow on from his British festival appearances at Leeds and Reading this summer.
Fans of the musician's new materials will be able to hear him perform singles Tenderoni and Everything You Wanted, while it is likely he will also showcase some of his band's hits like Helicopter and The Prayer.
This new recording follows on from the top ten successes Okereke had achieved with Bloc Party, including a string of top forty hits and three top ten albums since Silent Alarm in 2005.
It is the first solo date that he has announced in the UK, although several North American shows, stopping at locations including Vancouver, Chicago and San Francisco, have previously been announced.
