Rod Stewart wins rave reviews
Music lovers with Rod Stewart tickets are in for a treat, if recent reviews are anything to go by.The former Faces frontman appeared at the MEN Arena this week, where he treated audiences to classics such as Handbags and Gladrags, Baby Jane and Maggie May.
According to the Daily Star, he "thoroughly entertained" an audience which included people from all age groups.
The singer was commended for showcasing the best of his "incredible back catalogue" alongside songs from his recent Soulbook album.
Stewart's "amazing vocals" were also singled out for praise, along with his enthusiastic dance moves and warm personality.
The Manchester Evening News was equally keen to praise the veteran rock star, by saying he put in a "masterclass" at the MEN Arena.
Fans in the UK still have a chance to see Stewart in action, as he has gigs in venues such as the O2 and the Liverpool Echo Arena lined up for June and July.
