As the penultimate race of the year the winner could be decided on the day, or at least make it much easier or harder for the leader to secure his place at the end of the year. The result is a Formula One meeting that receives a lot of attention, with many eyes placing a lot of attention on the events the big day. So being there in person is a must for any Formula One fans and it ensures that Brazilian Grand Prix tickets are hot property when they go on sale.
The Brazilian Grand Prix traces its roots right back to the 1970s, when Interlagos first hosted the famous event. It was not yet part of the Formula One Championship, but would eventually join the line up of well known events in 1973 as Jacarepaguá in Rio de Janeiro hosted the event in years that Interlagos did not. It would eventually become well known for providing a huge spectacle of a race, with fast cars going head to head and making for an exciting outcome.
This is helped by the Brazilian Grand Prix ability to decide the overall winner of the World Championship, with Fernando Alonso securing victory in 2005, whilst Jenson Button’s fifth place in 2009 gave him enough points to give him the World Championship that year. The race has seen many winners, with Alain Prost achieving the most over the years, whilst Michael Schumacher has taken centre stage a total of five times. Other winners include Mark Webber, Felipe Massa, Kimi Räikkönen, Juan Pablo Montoya and Giancarlo Fisichella in the last decade.
So make sure you get hold of Brazilian Grand Prix tickets before it is too late. The resulting race could be the most memorable of the season as world class drivers take to the track and provide motor racing fans with an unbelievable event. With many winners over the years, as well as Championship victories and significant races, it will not be a race to miss out on.
