Lyttelton Seating Plan

The Lyttelton National Theatre is the ‘middle’ of the 3 National Theatre venues located at Southbank, in that it comes 2nd of 3 in terms of capacity, with almost 900 seats on 2 levels: The Stalls and the Circle. The Stalls feature rows that stretch back from the stage from A to V, with maximum seats stretching across from 4 to 34. The Circle, on the other hand, features rows leading back from A to J and with 36 seats going across the auditorium. This makes for a total capacity in the Lyttelton Theatre of 890 on 2 levels.

Once patrons are in the foyer area of the Lyttelton (with the Box Office located on the left) they can gain access to the Stalls on the same level (though the Stalls slope, so there are steps that lead to the rows stretching from the back). To get to the Circle  there are 22 steps going up (with a glass lift also available).
