Access/ How to Get There
The venue is located on Shaftesbury Avenue, which is the same street that houses many other theatres in the capital such as the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, the Lyric Theatre and the Queen’s Theatre. Meanwhile, the Piccadilly Theatre is also within close proximity to the venue, as well as the Palace Theatre, the Ambassador’s Theatre and Prince Edward. Various amenities are also nearby, thanks to its central London location.
For those arriving by the London Underground, the nearest tube station takes the form of Piccadilly Circus, though Oxford Circus and Leicester Square are also in relatively close proximity. For those arriving by Train, the nearest railway station takes the form of Charing Cross.
The theatre is also well served via the road system, with a number of bus services operating in the area, in addition to a number of car parks, including an NCP Car Park on Waldour Street. In terms of disabled access, the there is a disabled toilet near the foyer bar, whilst numerous spaces are available in the auditorium for wheelchair use. The disabled entrance is the third side exit on Rupert Street.
There are a number of headsets available for those who are hard-of-hearing, which are a part of the seinnheiser infra-red system. Meanwhile, blind guests are welcome to bring their dogs into the auditorium. Alternatively, they can be looked-after by members of staff (2 guide dogs per performance).
