The Gielgud Theatre seats just under 1,000 people on 3 levels: The Stalls, the Dress Circle and the Grand Circle. The Stalls stretch back from the stage from row A to W, with a maximum of 26 seats across, whilst the Dress Circle stretches from row A to J and features a maximum of 5-30 seats across. The Grand Circle goes from row A to J and itself features a maximum of 29 seats across. This makes for a total of 973 seats on 3 levels.

Upon entering the Gielgud Theatre the patrons will find the Box Office on the right and the auditorium can be accessed by steps from here – 20 steps lead down to the Stalls, 2 steps lead up to the Dress Circle and 30 steps lead up to the Upper Circle.
