The London Palladium hosts An Evening With The Overtones, a chance to see a celebrated band known for their vocal harmonies. The Overtones have released three albums (with a fourth due for release in 2015) since they emerged in 2010 and have captured the hearts of fans across the country, not only thanks to their numerous tours and performances, but thanks to their numerous appearances on television screens.
The Overtones released their first single in 2010 – Gambling Man – and since then they have followed it up with the likes of The Longest Time and Loving The Sound. Such releases appeared on their albums Good Ol’ Fashioned Love (& Gambling Man) and Higher, with more tracks to be found on their 2013 album Saturday Night At The Movies and 2015’s Sweet Soul Music.
Their work offers some great sounds with great singing and harmonising that both have to be heard in a live setting. With their fantastic covers of doo-wop hits and homage to masters of soul, they have something to offer for everyone.
The performance appears at the London Palladium, the home of both Cats and Beyond Bollywood in 2015 (in addition to shows by Joe Longthorne and Bruce Forsyth in May). It also plays in a year that welcomes various performances from well known stars, including Curtis Stigers at the Lyric Theatre.
An Evening With The Overtones appears as part of a UK tour for the group at the West End venue on Friday 3rd July 2015.
