Audiences across the capital will be eager to catch Be Bop A Lula at the Ambassadors Theatre as this promises to be a wonderful celebration of some of the biggest names of rock ‘n’ roll, from Eddie Cochran to Roy Orbison and from Gene Vincent to Billy Fury.
With Gavin Stanley and Lars Young as cast members, this is a great tribute show to some legends of music and it has already entertained audiences across the country. Now it is the turn of West End crowds to get a look-in as it appears at the Ambassadors on two occasions early in 2015.
The legendary stars will be brought back to life onstage by these talented performers so that crowds can relive the glory days of rock ‘n’ roll.
Billy Fury, for example, is responsible for some of the best known hits of the 20th century, as did Roy Orbison with his hits like Only The Lonely, Gene Vincent with the likes of Be-Bop-A-Lula and Eddie Cochran with Summertime Blues. All of the performers made a huge impression on their fans and though their legend lives on many years since they last performed onstage.
The production appears at the regular home of Stomp in the West End – the Ambassador’s Theatre. Whilst the famous percussive musical continues at the venue, Be Bop A Lula makes appearances there in 2015 on Wednesday 4th March 2015 and Wednesday 1st April 2015.
