Seating Plan

(2mins) Take Cranbourn Street away from Leicester Square up to Great Newport Street on your left, where you can see the theatre.

The Arts Theatre welcomes two shows from writer Alexander Wright in March – Beulah, a folk musical that takes its cues from the work of William Blake, and Some Small Love Story, a production that earned many award nominations in other locations around the UK. The former is set to be directed by the young Tom Bellerby.

Beulah is said to straddle different planes of reality in what is described as a folk tale that forces us to rethink how we look at the world around us. Using the work of William Blake as a spring board we explore time, space and dreams in a show that will have audience’s minds racing as they leave the Arts Theatre.

Alexander Wright has worked with Bellerby before, taking part in the Flanagan Collective and producing shows such as A Christmas Carol for them, as well as The William Stories at the Polka Theatre in London. He is a young voice whose work will likely made huge strides in years to come. So by picking up theatre tickets for Beulah you could be witnessing the work of a regular future talent.

Beulah has a brief run at the Arts Theatre from Monday 18th March 2013 to Wednesday 20th March 2013.
