The world’s most famous big band musician Glenn Miller is celebrated in this acclaimed production at the Leicester Square Theatre – Bugle Boy: The Life Story Of Glenn Miller. Audiences will have the opportunity to explore the life and career of an icon – a musician who delighted audiences around the world right up to his mysterious disappearance in an aircraft in December 1944.
It has already been seen around the United Kingdom and has also wowed audiences on the other side of the Atlantic, ensuring that there will be plenty of interest in this production when it lands amongst other west end shows at the Leicester Square Theatre.
Glenn Miller led his famous big band throughout the 1930 and into the 1940s, providing recordings of some of the biggest hits of the time, from Chattanooga Choo Choo and In The Mood to Pennsylvania 6-5000, among others. His story became the stuff of legend when, in 1944, he disappeared in an aircraft over the English Channel and his fate has never been discovered.
Dan Stevenson is the playwright that has brought this show together and it offers those with theatre tickets and unbeatable opportunity to explore a legendary figure of the 20th century.
