Latest Review: "Burt Bacharach - Who would have thought that at 88 years old this legend could put on such a fant..."

One of the most celebrated songwriters and performers of all time, Burt Bacharach, heads to London for this very special appearance at the London Palladium. With a live orchestra and numerous special guests, this is not something that Bacharach fans will want to miss.

The legendary talent has enjoyed many decades at the top, not only penning songs for himself but for other artists as well. He is particularly well known for his songs for films, including the iconic Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head which he penned by Hal David for Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid, plus What The World Needs Now Is Love (which famously appeared in Austin Powers).

The West End has been the home of a big celebration of his work in recent years as well, with Kyle Riabko’s Close To You:  Bacharach Reimagined appearing at the Criterion Theatre in 2015. So this is a great time to be a fan of his work.

But this is something else as it sees the man himself perform at the London Palladium where he will present some of his best known hits, from I Say a Little Prayer to Do You Know The Way To San Jose, amongst others, and it will provide his fans with a truly unforgettable night in the West End.

Burt Bacharach plays the London Palladium on Saturday 25th June 2016.
