A host of top talent descend on the O2 this Christmas for a spectacular display of great music – from carols and traditional classics to Christmas number one favourites – performed by some huge names and featuring some awe-inspiring visual treats along the way. It can only be the Christmas Spectacular, which will light up the O2 in the run up to the big day by taking over the venue on Thursday 23rd December 2010.
Amongst the names taking part are television presenter and musician Myleene Klass, the renowned conductor Anthony Inglis and further talents such as Rhydian Roberts, Ruthie Henshall and Raymond Gubbay.
Myleene Klass is set to take on hosting duties for the evening, leading us through an event filled with wonderful sights and sounds. There will be a performance from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with the popular Anthony Inglis conducting, as well as Raymond Gubbay with his anticipated Christmas production, and a host of all singing stars, ranging from the best sopranos, tenors and more. But that’s not all and whilst the goings on will be a treat for the ears, the evening will also feature some glorious visual effects and even an indoor firework show as the finale. All of this will come together to ensure that the evening will never be forgotten – at least not in a hurry.
Presenter Myleene Klass is one of the most familiar faces working in British television and has been a regular of the stage and screen since she first auditioned for a place in the finals in early talent show “Popstars”, which launched her career with the band “Hear’Say”. After her time with the group she appeared on “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here!”, “The X Factor”, “The All Star Talent Show” and red carpet coverage of the 2007 BAFTA Awards. She has also released solo albums like “Myleene’s Music for Romance” and “Moving On” and it all shows that she will be a great choice to host the Christmas Spectacular this December.
So make sure you get down to the O2 this winter season as the Christmas Spectacular sets up shop on Thursday 23rd December 2010. It will be a great way to see in the big day with style.
