Grease - Manchester

Everyone’s favourite musical returns to the stage as the UK touring version of “Grease” hits the Palace Theatre in Manchester in October. It will be an unbeatable opportunity to step back in time to the 1950s and meet Danny and Sandy as they embark on a rock ‘n’ roll romance. Whether you have seen the West End version, which used to run at London’s Piccadilly Theatre, or you are more familiar with the John Travolta movie version that hit cinema screens in the 1970s, this is a must-see show!

In “Grease” we meet Danny Zuko, the iconic greaser and leader of the T-Birds, and Sandy Dumbrowski, the new girl in school and member of the Pink Ladies. After a summer romance, which they relay back to their friends in the iconic song “Summer Nights”, they discover that they are both a part of the same school and Danny realises he must change his ways if he ever wants to be with a girl like Sandy. Other hit songs along the way include “Grease (Is the Word)”, “You’re the One That I Want” and “Greased Lightning”, among others, making for an unbeatable performance.

So make sure you pick up theatre tickets and witness “Grease” when it lands in Manchester in 2012. It is set to run at the Palace Theatre, Manchester, from Monday 8th October 2012 to Saturday 13th October 2012.
