This April the London Palladium sets its sights on country music from one of the world’s best. John Prine, the folk musician who has built up a loyal army of fans since his first releases in the early 1970s, performs in the West End and will show many how he has remained in the spotlight for so long.
During his illustrious career Prine has released a multitude of albums, beginning with 1971’s self-titled release and 1972’s follow up Diamonds In Rough and leading to more recent additions like 2005’s Fair And Square, 2011’s Singing Mailman Delivers and 2016’s For Better, For Worse. These decades at the top have seen him influence countless other stars and cement his place in music history in the process, making his Grammy wins and lifetime achievement awards all the more deserved.
So his return to the stage in 2017 should not be missed and as this latest concert takes place in London’s West End his fans are in for a treat as he joins a host of musicians to grace the stage of the London Palladium (2017 also brings Whoopi Goldberg, Eric Cantona and Paul Carrack, to name but a few).
John Prine performs at the London Palladium on Friday 21st April 2017.
