Fans of The Lord Of The Dance can rejoice yet again 2015 as a talented team of performers return to the West End with The Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games.  The production is set to run at the Playhouse Theatre from October, following its previous appearance at the Dominion Theatre earlier in the year, and it will offer audiences the chance to pick up tickets and witness something that has enthralled theatregoers since it was first performed back in 1996.

On this occasion Flatley, who has retired from performing, hands over to hot young talent, giving other stand-out performers the chance to shine, but this will still be an opportunity to see the Irish dancer at the top of his game as the show was devised by him as an update of his iconic hit.

The story of The Lord Of The Dance is as follows – we follow the Little Spirit as he journeys through the ages, aiding the Lord of the Dance. Along the way he helps him to defend himself and those of Planet Ireland from Don Dorcha. It is a story, told through impressive dance routines, that has captivated audiences for almost two decades and continues to find new fans whenever it returns.

Audiences first picked up theatre tickets for The Lord Of The Dance in 1996 when it premiered at the Point Theatre in Dublin. Music came from Ronan Hardiman and Flatley himself starred, but few could have predicted the worldwide reaction to the production over the years to follow. Since that first production it has been seen here in London, oversees in Las Vegas and even at Walt Disney World, to name but a few locations, and its popularity shows no sign of ceasing. The Dangerous Games version of the show previously appeared at the Playhouse Theatre in September 2014.

Now, Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games returns to that location for another stand-out run of performance. It performs at the Playhouse Theatre from Saturday 10th October 2015.
