As part of a season of shows that welcomes a range of flamenco artists for the 2011 Flamenco Festival, Tomatito returns to the stage to put on a stand-out show for his British fans.
The season will also include acts such as Isreal Galván in “Recital Flamenco” and Rocío Molina in “Cuando Las Piedras Vuelen”, but on the 16th February 2011 Sadler’s Wells welcomes Tomatito in “Luz de Guía”, which will demonstrate the celebrated flamenco guitarist at his absolute best. As such, audiences should get a good idea why he is a multi-Grammy award winning musician.
The Spanish Romani star has released a range of hits since he first emerged onto the scene in the 1970s and over the years he has worked alongside some of the best known stars of the scene, from Camarón de la Isla (between 1979 and 1992) to Michel Camilo and beyond. So he is highly experienced and likely to bring a lot to the table at Sadler’s Wells, where audiences are going to be glad they picked a London theatre show with a difference.
Tomatito brings “Luz de Guía” to Sadler’s Wells on Wednesday 16th February 2011.
