Everyone around the world is familiar with the story of “Peter Pan” but this does not stop people flocking to theatres showing new productions based on this groundbreaking work by J M Barrie. With that in mind the Manchester Opera House is proud to present this new production of “Peter Pan” that appears at the venue during the Christmas period. Not only will a classic story be retold onstage, audiences will also be thrilled to see David Hasselhoff in the role of Captain Hook, something they will not want to miss.
In the same year that “Legally Blonde the Musical” makes its way to the venue, Hasselhoff will bring new life to the character of Hook in front of Manchester audiences. This should ensure high sale of theatre tickets as the performer is known all over the world for his acting work in programmes from “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch” to more recent additions like “Piranha 3DD” and the upcoming “Keith Lemon: The Film”. He has also appeared onstage, with a London credit of “Chicago” in the West End and a Broadway credit in “Jekyll & Hyde”.
But as Captain Hook he will provide a great treat as he stands amongst great special effects, costumes and more for a show few will forget!
“Peter Pan” is at the Manchester Opera House from Saturday 8th December 2012 to Sunday 13th January 2013.
