If ever you wanted to end your theatrical career before it even began apply within.
The uncomfortably ear piercing sound system accompanied with screeching songs (may I add the atrocious lyrics) if you were lucky enough to decipher them seemed to be plucked out of the air.
To fill space one was presented with some concoction of humming - car crash!
'Movement on stage', formally known as dance: I've seen more polished performances from nursery school children at a nativity play. Timings were out, spins out of control, lifts awkward. Free movement I'm all for but as a whole it was it was heavy, sloppy and strained.
We gladly left the Theatre Royal for the evening at interval time. Managing to achieve such a disastrous calamity of nothing MUST require huge effort. For this I felt compelled to applaud.
