Seussical

Are you are a fan of the enduringly popular and delightfully surreal world of Dr Seuss? Then the Arts Theatre has a treat for you this Christmas as it welcomes the hit musical “Seussical” to its stage for a brief run into the New Year. The production will see a range of well known characters from Seuss’s famous books take on an adventure with songs and colourful situations for you to experience.

The result should be a show that sticks in the mind, much like the original stories that take its basis. So with so many shows offering theatre tickets in the capital, this should be at the top of the list!

In “Seussical” we meet the likes of Horton the Elephant – who teams up with Jojo for an incredible journey – and the Cat in the Hat – who joins the journey with plenty of fish, hats and monkeys to pass the time. With other well known characters as well the result is something that put a smile on the face of anyone that sees it.

Then there are the musical numbers, which range from “Oh, The Thinks You Can Think!” and “The People Versus Horton the Elephant” to “Monkey Around” and “The One Feather Tale of Miss Gertrude McFuzz”, among others.

There’s also a stand out cast, including Kirsty Marie Ayers, David Hunter, Clark Devlin and more. They will help the show to rise high in a season that also includes “All That Fall” at the West End venue.

“Seussical” is at the Arts Theatre from Tuesday 4th December 2012 it will then end its run early in the New Year.
