Laura Eason’s acclaimed play Sex With Strangers is staged at the Hampstead Theatre in North London, providing audiences in the capital with an opportunity to witness a unique and well-received comedy after it has already wowed audiences in the United States and in Australia.
With Peter DuBois directing and Emilia Fox in the lead role this is going to bring a lot of attention to Hampstead in 2017 as some talented people work to bring this show to life. After all, Fox has appeared on our screens in a range of television shows and has made her mark on the stage as well with appearances at the Donmar Warehouse and others. So to call this a must-see would be an understatement.
The story is a romantic one focusing on two writers from different backgrounds and disciplines and with vastly different levels of success. Olivia is a writer who deserves more success whilst Ethan is a blogger with millions of fans and as they spend time in a B&B during a snow storm we will witness some ups and downs.
Laura Eason is a playwright, producers and screenwriter whose work has included Around The World In 80 Days at the Young Vic Theatre and the US play Area Of Rescue, amongst others. She has also worked on television shows like House Of Cards.
Sex With Strangers runs at the Hampstead Theatre from Friday 27th January 2017.
