It is clear that whilst there is regularly a wealth of choice when it comes to comedy in the West End, one show coming to the Garrick Theatre in the summer will stand-out amongst the crowd. Tape Face makes his way to the West End for a brief run in June and July and he will prove to London theatregoers why he has been making such a huge impression on a world stage.
This is not the first time that he has been seen in the West End of course. Back when he still went by the name The Boy With Tape On His Face he brought his unique and unmissable show to the Duchess Theatre for the Christmas season of 2012. But whilst that might seem like a distant memory, his return in 2017 will provide new delights.
Usually if you give a comic a microphone this is all they need to turn two hours into unmissable entertainment. But with Tape Face all he needs his tape. This spectacle sees the man indulge in comedy of the silent fare, resulting in hilarious material that has to be seen to be believed.
As well as appearing at the Duchess Theatre in 2012, Tape Face has also appeared on other stages around the world, from his home turf of New Zealand to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. More recently he also made headlines for making it to the finals of America’s Got Talent in 2016, making him a young talent that many are keeping a close eye on.
And it will be the turn of West End audiences to provide the eyes this summer as Tape Face appears at the Garrick Theatre from Tuesday 6th June 2017.
