Patients worldwide are affected by genetic heart and lung problems and efforts are ongoing to save lives in this field. With this in mind any money going towards this cause is more than welcome and this is why this wonderful one-off charity gala is taking place at the Adelphi Theatre.
The show is hosted by the well known broadcaster Clive Anderson this February as a range of well known stars appears onstage. It will be an opportunity to see the performances of some talented comedians whilst also providing much-needed funds for a worthy cause.
The money raised during the course of the evening will go towards Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals’ ‘One gene, all the difference’ campaign, which helps genetics and genomes testing services at the Royal Brompton Hospital, a cause that could save many lives.
At the time of writing the line-up is said to include James Acaster, Rowan Atkinson, Jo Brand, Rob Brydon, Bridget Christie, Nina Conti, Angus Deayton, Harry Enfield, Nish Kumar, Michael McIntyre and Paul Whitehouse, so to call this a star-studded evening would be an understatement!
And with a host in Clive Anderson this should be an unforgettable night. A broadcaster with decades of experience, Anderson is well known for hosting the likes of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Clive Anderson Talks Back and Clive Anderson All Talk, amongst others.
