Fans of Shakespeare will be right at home with the latest staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream this May as the Barbican Theatre provides the stage and the Royal Shakespeare Company calls the shots with the Tower Theatre Company.

The Bard’s play from the 1590s is a renowned classic that introduced audiences to characters like Theseus, the Fairy Queen, Bottom, Puck, Hippolyta, Lysander and Titania, amongst others. We follow the exploits of these characters in the forest as trickery and mistaken identity embroils them.

This production appears briefly at the Barbican as part of a UK tour that will bring the work of the Royal Shakespeare Company to audiences around the country. With the Tower Theatre Company bringing the show to life and some talented performers playing these iconic roles, this is certain to be a much talked-about show wherever it appears in the country.

The Tower Theatre Company is based in London and has been creating show for some time and with A Midsummer Night’s Dream they will spread the word of their enormous talent.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream makes its welcome appearance at the Barbican Theatre in London from Tuesday 17th May 2016.
