The Trafalgar Studios 2 in London’s West End welcomes a new play by Kieran Lynn this August as “An Incident at the Borders” transfers from the Finborough Theatre. Audiences will be able to witness a compelling story of the borders that divide us, with war and romance a part of the plot. Tom Bennett is among the actors cast in the production, with Florence Hall and Marc Pickering also appearing under the direction of Bruce Guthrie.
Tom Bennett has appeared in various television programmes over the years, with “Upstairs Downstairs” one of his most recent and “PhoneShop” among his best known. His other creits include “EastEnders”, “Silent Witness”, “The Hunt for Tony Blair” and “Midsomer Murders”, among others.
In “An Incident at the Border” we meet a couple that is split apart when a nation’s new border is drawn up, dividing them across the line. With a strict border guard to contend with the situation is made worse by the threat of war between the two nations.
Those with theatre tickets will be witnessing the latest work from Kieran Lynn, whose previous work has included “The Recurring Rise and Fall” at the Hampstead Theatre. “An Incident at the Borders” has received a positive reception already and is something that audiences are likely to respond to in the West End as a well.
“An Incident at the Borders” is at Trafalgar Studios 2 from Monday 20th August 2012 to Saturday 15th September 2012.
