The live stage version of the hit Sky One television series Brainiac heads to the Palace Theatre in London’s West End for a brief run of shows in the summer. The one hour performance will feature plenty of science abuse as the team of Andy Joyce and Rik Warren explore some of the great querks and mysteries of science. Witness live the exploits that you should never try at home.
The live show has been seen before, with a 2008 tour kicking things off to great success, and now the production heads to the West End with everything from stunts to explosions sure to make it under the roof of the Palace Theatre.
Brainiac: Science Abuse appeared on television screens across the last decade and during this time it featured an array of presenters, from Richard Hammond to Vic Reeves, taking on some of sciences most exciting questions (who could forget the episode where Jon Tickle walked on custard?)
It’s a busy year for the Palace Theatre, with the long running Singin’ In The Rain coming to a close in June and Derren Brown’s new show Infamous running from then on. Brainiac Live: Science Abuse then hits the stage before The Commitments opens in October.
Brainiac Live: Science Abuse runs at the Palace Theatre from Thursday 18th July 2013.
