It is time to welcome back the West End’s favourite illusionist in Derren Brown, who makes his way back to the capital to present the latest in a long line of solo shows that have graced Theatreland for more than a decade. Derren Brown was last seen with his show Infamous in 2013 and now he takes to the stage of the Palace Theatre with Miracle, a show that promises a philosophical slant to proceedings and encourages audiences to change their way of thinking.

In a year that also brings Impossible to the Noël Coward Theatre, it is clear that this is a good time for magic and illusion fans to be headed to a London theatre.

Impossible invites audiences to try to make their lives happier as Brown encourages them to change their outlook and their thinking model. Prior to its arrival in the West End audiences around the UK have also had a look-in and the reaction indicates that this new direction from his earlier productions has been a positive one.

Derren Brown is of course one of the UK’s best known illusionists and this status has been cemented with the numerous television series, specials and stage shows that have entertained crowds for over a decade. Prior to Miracle, his west end shows have included Infamous, Svengali, Enigma, Mind Reader: An Evening Of Wonder, Something Wicked This Ways Comes and Derren Brown Live. Meanwhile, those that are yet to see him live on stage will be familiar with the television shows Derren Brown: The Great Art Robbery, Fear And Faith, Apocalypse and the series The Experiments, amongst others.

With Miracle he once again teams up with his long-time collaborator Andy Nyman, the magician who has had great success in recent years, not only alongside Brown, but also with the hit West End show Ghost Stories, which played at both the Duke of York’s Theatre and the Arts Theatre. He has also worked extensively as an actor with credits like the series Dead Set and the film Kick-Ass 2.

Derren Brown returns to the West End with Miracle at the Palace Theatre from Tuesday 17th November 2015 (previews from Wednesday 11th November 2015).
