Kevin Bishop, best known for fronting the television series The Kevin Bishop Show, heads to the Menier Chocolate Factory to present the latest staging of Fully Committed, which appears at the venue to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The Menier Chocolate Factory opened its doors a decade ago and to mark the occasion it brings Fully Committed back to the stage, a show that audiences first saw at the location in 2004. This is a great chance to see a well known performer in a landmark production that will undoubtedly be a highlight of the Menier Chocolate Factory’s 2014 calendar.
The production is a one-man show that will see Kevin Bishop take on the role of Sam Pelicowski, an actor who makes a living at a well known restaurant in New York. He has his own life to sort out and strives for acting work, but instead he’s in demand for the high profile Manhattan location and must sort his way through the well known clientele. It was written by Becky Mode.
Kevin Bishop is a well known television comedian whose work has included Being Tom Cruise, Star Stories, The Kevin Bishop Show and Peter And Dud: Come Again, in which he portrayed Dudley Moore. The latter was a stage production that appeared at The Venue (now the Leicester Square Theatre) in 2006. He has also been the recipient of numerous award nominations.
Fully Committed marks the 10th anniversary of the venue by running from Wednesday 10th September 2014 (previews from Wednesday 3rd September 2014).
