As part of London’s International Mime Festival of 2016, the Peacock Theatre welcomes Familie Flöz back to the Peacock Theatre for performances that will remind crowds why they are considered some of the best when it comes to stand-out mime.
Familie Flöz is a theatre company based in Germany that has been entertaining audiences since the early 1990s. They are highly regarded for their use of masks and mime and as a result they are a perfect addition to the London International Mime Festival, with whom they have performed before. After all, they have had success with previous shows like Ristorante Immortale and there’s no reason Infinita won’t enjoy similar heights.
Infinita looks at the same group in different stages of life, from children to old people in a home and we explore how the fun and games of youth carry over into our later years. It will be a funny show that utilises the skills perfected by Familie Flöz over the years and the result will be something truly memorable.
And it all comes to the London International Mime Festival, which is present at many venues in the capital early in 2016. As well as the Peacock Theatre, shows can also be seen at the likes of the Barbican and the Soho Theatre, amongst others.
Meanwhile, the Peacock Theatre provides one of these stages. In addition to the London International Mime Festival, the West End outlet of Sadler’s Wells also welcomes shows like The Merchants of Bollywood in 2016. It is regularly the home of some of the best examples of international dance.
Infinita is at the Peacock Theatre from Thursday 28th January 2016.
