The Apollo Theatre welcomes the Mischief Theatre as they once again present their follow up to the hit Duchess Theatre show The Play That Goes Wrong. Just like the original, it focuses on the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’s attempts to put on a hit show, this time Peter Pan, and the mishaps that inevitably follow.

Whilst audiences can still catch The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre as it is set to remain at the venue for some time to come, they will also have the option of seeing Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the Apollo Theatre as it returns in 2016 following its run at the Apollo over the 2015 Christmas season.

So join the cast and crew of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society as they attempt to visit Neverland with their production of Peter Pan. But it wouldn’t be right if everything went to plan, so expect technical issues, cast problems and more to derail the project, with hilarious results!

The Play That Goes Wrong has proven to be a huge success at its current home, with a Laurence Olivier Award to its name, and audiences can’t get enough of the hilarious exploits onstage. So there’s no reason not to expect a similar response to Peter Pan Goes Wrong.

In particular, there’s director Adam Meggido, who already enjoys success in the West End this year with Showstoppers! The Improvised Musical (also at the Apollo Theatre). The talented performer and director has also worked as a writer of musicals, whilst also finding success with The London 50-Hour Improvathon.

Audiences also have another opportunity to see the work of the Mischief Theatre in 2016 as well as the Criterion Theatre welcomes their latest show The Comedy About A Bank Robbery. So there will be plenty of high quality shows to choose from, cementing the Mischief Theatre as a company that will have a lasting effect on the West End.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong is at the Apollo Theatre from Thursday 20th October 2016.
