The classic story of the boy who never grew up returns to the stage as a concert featuring the talents of a full orchestra appears at the Adelphi Theatre. Live in the West End, audiences will be treated to this musical extravaganza featuring music from Stiles and Drewe and a book by Willis Hall.
But with Peter Pan they provide the music and lyrics to a timeless story, with Wendy Darling visited by Peter Pan during the night. She is staying in London with her brothers and when they meet the hero they are startled to discover that he can fly, eventually journeying with him to his home in Neverland. It is there that they meet a range of well known characters, including Pan’s arch nemesis Captain Hook.
Peter Pan isn’t the only George Stiles and Anthony Drewe production entertaining younger West End crowds in 2015 as the summer months also see The Three Little Pigs land at the Palace Theatre. The talented writers have also penned a range of other shows that have impressed those with theatre tickets, from Mary Poppins to Soho Cinders, amongst others.
This imaginative story takes J M Barrie’s original tale and presents it in a new way, giving fans of the work something to remember.
So embark on an unforgettable journey as Peter Pan is staged in concert in the West End for two performances on Sunday 25th October 2015.
