Singular Sensations - Patricia Routledge

The Singular Sensations season at the Charing Cross Theatre offers an unmissable insight into the West End this year as it welcomes audiences to these insightful discussions. These chats include some of the biggest names of the musical theatre scene, with the likes of Alex Gaumond and Jamie Parker taking part on other evenings

Late in August, however, it will be the turn of Patricia Routledge to sit down with Edward Seckerson and chat about her remarkable career.

Patricia Routledge needs little introduction, having appeared in a wealth of television shows and musicals during her working life. Few could have forgotten her memorable performances as Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances or as the title character in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, in addition to the myriad other beloved characters she has portrayed over the years. But she has also made her mark on the stage, with credits like The Importance Of Being Earnest at the Haymarket Theatre and Carousel at the National Theatre in recent decades. She has also earned Tony and Olivier Awards.

As part of an unmissable season, Singular Sensations welcomes Patricia Routledge to the stage of the Charing Cross Theatre on Sunday 23rd August 2015.
