As “Sooty In Space” is announced for a Christmas run at the Duchess Theatre, another announcement reveals that it won’t be the only show entertaining audiences at the West End theatre this season. “The Boy With Tape On His Face” is also making his way to the venue and in doing so he will be showing audiences what has made him so popular at repeated Edinburgh Fringe festivals.
The physical comedian has never appeared in a West End show before and if his popularity comes to match his talent then this will be a historic moment, particularly as the unique show has earned a lot of attention in the Scottish capital.
“The Boy With Tape On His Face” is also known as New Zealander Sam Wills and in addition to the character he plays in this West End show, he has also been seen on stages as himself and as one half of the “Spitroast” double act. He has been seen all over the world, particularly in the UK and in New Zealand, and he is certainly someone to keep an eye on.
The show is billed as a stand-up show with no talking or punch lines. It is a truly unique experience!
“The Boy With Tape On His Face” is at the Duchess Theatre from Monday 17th December 2012.
