Dinosaurs have had a tight grip on the imaginations of people around the world ever since their existence was first discovered in the firm of fossils and footprints, leading to their box office dominance in films like “Jurassic Park” and their enduring appeal in television shows like “Walking with Dinosaurs”. The latter spawned an arena tour that appeared in 2008 and now it makes its way back to London for an anticipated run of dates at the O2 Arena. It will be a chance to see dinosaurs walk the Earth once again as life size replicas appear in front of audience’s eyes.
“Walking with Dinosaurs” is an arena spectacular that promises to be a memorable and awe-inspiring event, with 20 full size dinosaurs hunt, roar and roam the Earth again. It is a multi-million pound showcase and all of this is easy to see as soon as the show begins.
The O2 Arena is located inside The O2, formerly the Millennium Dome, and has hosted a range of events since it opened in 2007. These have included musical shows with performance from Muse and Led Zeppelin, in addition to theatrical extravaganzas such as “The Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Concert”, “Disney on Ice” which returns to venues like Wembley Arena towards the end of 2012) and the previous appearance of “Walking with Dinosaurs” in 2008.
“Walking with Dinosaurs” is showcased at the O2 Arena in London from Wednesday 26th December 2012 to Sunday 6th January 2013.
