Bateaux Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruise - Bateaux London

Sunday Lunch with a side order of Jazz!

Going for Sunday lunch is a great British tradition but here’s a new twist on the theme: why not enjoy the traditional Sunday roast whilst enjoying some smooth, mellow jazz. And, why not do this whilst leisurely cruising down the River Thames.

An ideal way to combine the sights and sounds of London with a superb three-course meal, and accompanied by live jazz.

If you are a jazz fan then you will love this simply perfect combination.  What could be better than lazily winding your way along the river, taking in the some of the most famous sights that London has to offer? And, you can enjoy a delightful Sunday roast with your family and friends, freshly prepared by our onboard chef.

The ‘side order’ comes in the form of a live jazz band that will play a mixture of mainstream jazz songs, from Dixieland, through to trad, cool and be bop.

If you love jazz on a summer’s evening how about jazz on Sunday lunchtime!

Bateaux London organise a very popular series of river cruises which include special lunchtime and dinner events. The ‘Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruise’ is a new addition and one that they hope will be equally as popular.

These two and a half hour cruises are designed for a lazy Sunday afternoon and are a great way of entertaining visitors, family and friends, or anyone who happens to drop in on a Sunday. If you are stuck for ideas for Sunday lunch then these river cruises are a great option.

The Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruise
You step aboard at twelve noon where you can enjoy good food, great music and generally, ‘chill out’. As you do so the boat will take you and your guests past such memorable sights as the London Eye, the Millennium bridge, Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral to name but a few.

This is first class fare but at a budget price.

What are the times and duration of the Sunday lunch cruises?
They pick up at 12.00 noon from the Embankment pier with additional pick up and drop off points at Waterloo pier. The boat then leaves at 12.30 and returns at 3pm.
