Blenheim Palace and Best of Cotswolds - Gray Line London

Enjoy a cream tea in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds!

The Cotswolds are truly a superb part of the English countryside. This picturesque part of the UK is home to rolling hills, sleepy villages, and busy market towns and is a place where time appears to have stood still.

Blenheim Palace is one of the great palaces of England: located in simply stunning grounds in the Cotswolds, this magnificent structure is the birthplace of Winston Churchill.

With Gray Line London you have the chance to visit these two delightful places of interest which also includes a traditional Cotswolds cream tea. Just perfect after a day spent strolling around the leafy lanes and villages!

This superb one day tour will take you on a trip around the picture postcard villages of the Cotswolds in which you can admire the beautiful surroundings and relaxed pace of life.  This also includes a visit to Blenheim Palace where you will wander around the very rooms that Winston Churchill inhabited.

What does the tour include?

This full day includes the following:

A trip to Stow on the Wold, Burford and Bourton on the Water.  These very attractive villages contain features which refer back to earlier times such as the town stocks at Stow on the Wold and a medieval bridge at Burford. This is where you will see charming cottages, low bridges, stylish houses and very pleasant high streets with old fashioned shops and bustling markets.

A visit to the birthplace of Winston Churchill – Blenheim Palace.  The charismatic World War Two leader was born here: this fabulous stately home contains a superb collection of furnishings, tapestries and paintings which must not be missed.  This house was built in the Baroque style and is set within 2100 acres of beautiful grounds.

A full one day tour with us includes your entry to Blenheim Palace and any other places of interest: a trip around the Cotswolds and a lovely Cotswolds Cream Tea.  There is the extra option of lunch in one of those attractive villages. This also includes pick up and return to London.
