Aled Jones 'branching out' with musical styles
Aled Jones has explained that he has never been happier to try out new styles of singing.
The performer told the Western Mail that after years of being a presenter, he has shifted his focus back to singing again.
Currently on tour around the UK, the performer, who shot to fame aged 12 singing the track Walking in the Air, explained that he is now no longer scared to try other styles of music.
"Not just sacred stuff but jazz standards, songs from musicals and even a Beatles song. I'm branching out a little bit and this is probably the happiest I've ever been on stage," Jones told the newspaper.
He added that singing 18 songs on stage every night has helped his voice to become stronger, something which he said many people have commented on.
Jones is set to perform in his native Wales tonight (December 10th 2010), with dates in Dublin, Cheltenham and Norwich scheduled in the run-up to Christmas.
