Black Eyed Peas announce The Beginning
The new record from the Black Eyed Peas is to be called The Beginning, the group has announced.
Scheduled for release on November 30th 2010, the record is the follow up to their previous release, confusingly entitled The E.N.D.
According to Will.i.am, the title of the record has been influenced by current world events and the development of new technology.
"The Beginning is symbolic of adopting new technologies, such as augmented reality, 3D and 360 video," the performer explained.
He added that the album has also been influenced by songs they have liked from the past and that it will feature "sick, crazy beats".
The album will be preceded by the single The Time (Dirty Bit), which will give fans the first chance to listen to the group's new sound for themselves.
Earlier this year, the group hit the road for a string of UK headline dates, with Cheryl Cole performing as the support act.
