Carl Barat takes on solo dates
Carl Barat is to play a series of concerts around the UK following his successful appearances with the Libertines earlier this year.
The singer, who is the joint front man of the reformed indie band with Pete Doherty, is supporting his self-titled debut solo album.
Barat is due to play his first date of the tour on February 18th 2011 in Norwich, before stopping off for shows in cities including Bristol, Brighton and Portsmouth through into March.
He will complete the stint of dates at the Sheffield Leadmill on March 2nd, where attendees can expect to hear the first single from his album Run With The Boys and new release Song For My Lover, which is being made available on December 13th 2010.
During the summer fans had the chance to see Barat perform at the Leeds and Reading Festivals after reconciling with Doherty, with critics and supporters alike praising the two sets.
