Charlotte Church found new record 'cathartic'
Charlotte Church has spoken of how she found recording her new album a cathartic experience, following issues in her private life.
The Welsh singer, who became a household name as a child opera star, has become a mother of two and split from partner Gavin Henson since recording her last album Tissues and Issues.
However, Church told the Daily Telegraph that she has put her experiences into her new recording Back to Scratch.
She told the news source: "Songs are quite cathartic, and once you've said it, once it's out there, there's quite a weight off.
"I'm a happy bunny, really."
The amount of press coverage she receives has left her unfazed, she explained, as she recognises that her family and friends know her real personality.
The singer has not had a live tour since promoting her last album, so fans will be hoping that she follows up her secret London gigs with some new dates following her new record's release on November 1st 2010.
