Duchess of Cornwall meets War Horse puppets
Camilla Parker-Bowles had the opportunity to meet the remarkable puppets created for the stage production of War Horse.
The Duchess of Cornwall was attending the London International Horse Show in London as a patron of the British Equestrian Federation, where she met with some of the show's cast.
Standing next to the full-size model of Joey, the horse which is sent off to the trenches of the First World War in the play, the Duchess held on to its neck as she posed for photos.
She was also impressed with how life-like the animal, which was created by the Handspring Puppet Company and is operated by a team of puppeteers from inside the costume is, stating that she felt she should be offering it a mint.
War Horse is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo and is currently being performed at the New London Theatre, with the run set to continue through to February 18th 2012.
