Elton John 'looking forward' to Isle of Man show
Elton John has spoken of his excitement at playing on the Isle of Man for the first time next summer.
The performer stated that he has never been to the island before and explained that regardless of where he performs in the world, he is always thrilled to perform a concert in the UK.
"The summer audiences always come prepared to enjoy themselves, so be ready to be up on your feet, dancing and singing," Elton told his website.
He added that he feels there is a good omen about his gig, which is due to take place in the 8,500-seater Valhalla tent on June 16th 2011 as he recorded a song of the same name for his 1969 release Empty Sky.
The solo show comes as part of his tour of Britain next summer, which follows on from the tour of America with Leon Russell, which is set to end on November 21st and the European dates with Ray Cooper, beginning in Brussels on December 1st.
