Freebass release concert tickets for first UK tour
The indie supergroup's line-up consists of no less than three of the country's best known bassists - Andy Rourke of The Smiths, ex-New Order and Joy Division man Peter Hook and Mani, a former member of The Stone Roses and Primal Scream.
They will air tracks from their recently released debut album It's A Beautiful Life to fans with Freebass concert tickets, including the likes of Not Too Late, World Won't Wait and The God Machine.
After opening the tour at The Duchess in York on May 31st 2010, the band will go on to play dates in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Carlisle, before the closing night in Middlesbrough on June 6th.
Hook previously told NME that the band has been able to call on their famous connections for vocal duties, including Tim Burgess of The Charlatans, as well as Liam Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie and Ian Brown.
