Funeral Party show to include 'super-charged tunes'
Music fans set to attend an upcoming Funeral Party show are in for an energetic performance, if one reviewer is to be believed.
Writing for Adelaide Now, Scot Podmore suggested the band's debut album Golden Age of Knowhere is similar to The Rapture and Wilder.
In his view, there are enough edgy moments on the record to ensure listeners come back for more, adding: "Attitude is ample and the energy is super-charged in what is an impressive and aggressive debut."
The Funeral Party concert could be one of the most enjoyable alternative and indie concerts on the calendar over the next few months, particularly if the band play the first few tracks of their album, the review suggested.
Mr Podmore claimed new single Finale along with New York City Moves To The Sound Of LA and Car Wars are the best tracks on the record.
According to a recent interview with Artist Direct, Funeral Party make danceable art punk music.
