Gareth Gates to return to Les Miserables
Gareth Gates is to take on the role of Marius for the second time in Les Miserables.
The actor originally performed the part during the production's 25th anniversary tour earlier this year, but will now join the cast as a member of the West End production.
Gates will resume the part on October 18th 2010 at the Queen's Theatre, playing part until November 20th when he will take a break to take to the stage in panto, where he is to be performing in the role of the Prince in Woking's New Victoria Theatre's production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The 2002 runner-up on TV talent show Pop Idol will then rejoin the cast on January 31st 2011 to perform songs including A Heart Full of Love and Empty Chairs at Empty Tables until June 18th.
It is not the first time that he has taken on a famous role in the West End, as Gates has previously starred in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
